We’re excited to welcome Ric Hawkins to the Sydney Marine Brokerage team. With over 25 years in the boating industry, Ric brings hands-on knowledge of new and pre-owned vessels of all kinds, with a strong focus on European yachts.
Ric started in a Mona Vale shipyard while at university, then spent five years at Palm Beach working for the largest brokerage in Sydney at the time. Throughout his career, he has imported and sold boats from around the world and helped establish Windcraft, a brokerage supporting owners and buyers across both racing and cruising. His racing and coaching background means he understands boats from the inside out, giving clients practical guidance at every stage.
A Sydney local, Ric balances his professional life with family, and remains connected to the local boating community.
