CL Yachts has introduced a new mid-deck owner’s suite configuration for its 35-metre CLC115 catamaran, offering greater privacy, expanded guest accommodation and increased flexibility for owners and charter operations.

Hong Kong-based CL Yachts, the luxury yacht brand of Cheoy Lee Shipyards, has unveiled an alternative interior layout for its CLC115 tri-deck catamaran, placing the owner’s suite on the mid deck rather than the main deck.Developed by Supertomato Studio, the new arrangement provides a different approach to onboard living, combining a secluded owner’s retreat with additional accommodation and lifestyle spaces.Positioned aft on the mid deck, the owner’s suite has been designed to maximise privacy and connection with the surrounding seascape. Floor-to-ceiling glazing provides expansive ocean views, while a private terrace incorporates lounge seating and a spa pool. The suite also features a dedicated owner’s bathroom, creating a self-contained retreat away from the yacht’s principal guest areas.

More room to entertain

Relocating the owner’s accommodation allows CL Yachts to reconfigure the main deck, introducing a dedicated gym and two additional guest cabins, each with its own ensuite.

The revised layout increases accommodation capacity to six cabins plus one convertible cabin, compared with five cabins plus one convertible cabin in the original main-deck owner’s suite configuration.

“A flexible stateroom on the mid deck can also be customised as an entertainment room, nursery or massage room, allowing owners to tailor the space to their cruising preferences.”

Accommodation for four crew is retained, ensuring the additional guest facilities do not compromise the yacht’s operational requirements.

The expanded accommodation options are particularly relevant to owners seeking a yacht capable of balancing private family cruising with charter use.

Flexible design

The CLC115 retains its established catamaran platform, with naval architecture and exterior design by Australian marine design specialist Incat Crowther and interiors by Supertomato Studio.

The new configuration demonstrates the adaptability of the 35-metre platform, allowing owners to prioritise private accommodation, guest facilities or shared recreational spaces without altering the yacht’s underlying design.

“The new layout option for CLC115 reflects our commitment to offering solutions that respond to different owner and charter requirements,” said Martin Lo, Director of CL Yachts.

“By moving the Owner’s Suite to the Mid Deck, we can create a different use of the Main Deck. It gives our clients greater freedom to shape the yacht around the way they intend to use it.”

For CL Yachts, the alternative arrangement reinforces the growing emphasis on personalisation in luxury multihull design, where generous interior volume and flexible accommodation are increasingly important considerations.

With its private owner’s terrace, additional guest cabins and adaptable lifestyle spaces, the latest CLC115 configuration offers another option for owners seeking a spacious, individually tailored cruising experience.
