Designed with precision in every detail, the L30 incorporates advanced engineering and lightweight construction techniques to deliver outstanding sailing performance in a wide range of conditions. Features such as a trim tab system enhance upwind efficiency and improve control when sailing offshore in stronger winds.
The hull, deck, and internal structures are constructed using vinylester resin with glass infusion technology and PVC foam sandwich construction, ensuring strength, durability, and reduced weight for optimal performance.
A lifting keel with lead bulb and twin lifting rudder system provides exceptional versatility, while a custom steering setup with dual steering zones delivers precise handling and responsiveness under sail.
Despite its racing pedigree, the L30 offers genuine onboard comfort for cruising. The interior includes two sleeping berths, a compact galley, a spacious head with marine toilet, sink and shower, and practical saloon seating with storage throughout.
The L30 has also been designed for ease of transport and logistics, featuring a custom double-axle self-propelled trailer system that allows for simple launching, retrieval, and storage without the need for crane lifting.
The concept was developed by Rodion Luka, an Olympic medalist and experienced offshore sailor, in collaboration with designer Andrej Justin, known for the RC44 racing yacht. Together, they created a modern one design yacht that blends performance, innovation, and accessibility.
The L30 has been tested extensively since 2015 and is proudly offered in Australia by Sydney Marine Brokerage as the exclusive distributor of the L30 Class yacht.
