CL Yachts has completed sea trials of its new CLB65 SUV, with the first hull arriving in Hong Kong for exclusive client previews ahead of its official Asian debut later this year.
CL Yachts has completed sea trials of the first CLB65 SUV, marking another milestone for the Hong Kong-based builder as it prepares to introduce the new model to the Asian market.Following its launch earlier this year at the company’s Zhuhai production facility in China, the 19.7-metre yacht has arrived in Hong Kong, where it will be showcased to selected clients and brokers through a series of private viewings before making its official public debut.Developed as a sportier and more versatile evolution of the popular CLB65 platform, the new CLB65 SUV combines the practicality of an SUV-inspired layout with the performance, comfort and premium finish that define CL Yachts’ B-Series.
The yacht recently completed an extensive sea trial program, validating its performance, handling and onboard systems. Powered by either twin Caterpillar C18 or Volvo Penta D13 engines, the CLB65 SUV achieved a top speed of 28 knots at half load. Optional equipment, including the ZF JMS control system, is designed to further enhance manoeuvrability and ease of docking.
Designed by Supertomato Studio, the interior features a contemporary aesthetic with owners able to choose between walnut or white oak finishes. The main deck seamlessly integrates the aft cockpit, galley and saloon into a single open-plan entertaining space, while accommodation on the lower deck includes a full-beam owner’s suite, a VIP cabin and a convertible guest cabin.

From August through November, CL Yachts will conduct an exclusive private viewing program in Hong Kong, giving invited clients and brokers an opportunity to inspect the new model before its public launch.The CLB65 SUV will make its official Asian premiere at the Hong Kong Boat Show in December, where it will join the growing CL Yachts B-Series line-up.
