Awarded the Confindustria Nautica Trophy for Outstanding Performance

We are proud to announce that the Grand Soleil 44 Performance has won the prestigious Boat of the Year – Confindustria Nautica Trophy, awarded as part of the FIV Sailor of the Year – Stelle della Vela 2025 event, whose ceremony took place on May 21st in Rome.

This important recognition celebrates not only the design, performance, and innovation of the Grand Soleil 44 Performance, but also the outstanding work of the entire Cantiere del Pardo team and the professionals who turned this boat into an icon of competitive sailing.

The jury awarded the Boat of the Year – Confindustria Nautica Trophy – Gold Star to the Grand Soleil 44 Performance: designed by Matteo Polli and built by Cantiere del Pardo, it is the result of a well-established designer–shipyard partnership. It represents absolute excellence, thanks to a long tradition of international sporting success and design development—a true pride of Made in Italy manufacturing, further proven by four world championship titles that leave no room for doubt.

This award comes at a remarkable moment for the yacht, reaffirming its winning legacy. After four consecutive ORC World Championship titles (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), this is yet another achievement that highlights not only the design and technical value of the boat but also its exceptional consistency at the highest levels of international sailing.

The Grand Soleil 44 Performance stood out among top-tier finalists:
